Conversations with Bud

Bud: (showing me his hand) Mom, look.

Me: Bud, how did you get poop on your hand?

Bud: I don’t know.

Me: (helping him take his pants off) Good Lord Bud! How did you get poop on the front of your knee?

Bud: I don’t know. Sometimes it just happens.
