The Great New York State Fair Give Away!

OMG you guys! It’s my first ever give away!

Anyone who’s anyone has been to the Great New York State Fair! The wonderful people (Hi Chris!) at the Great New York State Fair have provided me with two free general admission tickets and a one-day parking pass for myself AND two free general admission tickets and a one-day parking pass for one of my readers! (Each a $25 value.)

Now I realize not all of my faithful readers live in NY but if you do, or if you’re up for a road trip, I highly suggest you take a stab at this. I’ve been going to the NYS Fair every year for the last 7 years and attended a few times as a kid. It’s always a blast.

Some of our favorite things every year are the .25 cent milk cups, the $1 baked potato (They are gluten free! Yay!)  the butter sculpture, the rides!, that chain saw sculpture guy, the free music at Chevy Court, and by far my most favorite thing is to see the looks on my kids faces as they enjoy their day as much as we do!

For more info about what the fair has to offer visit their site http://nysfair.org/.

To enter this free giveaway please leave a comment with your favorite Fair memory and be sure to mention that you want a chance to win. Even if you don’t want a chance to win the tickets please feel free to leave your favorite Fair memory anyway!

All entries must be received by this Thursday, August 18, by Noon. The winner will be announced later that day.

I might use one of those random generator site things that all the other fancy bloggers use (if I can figure it out) or I might just pick names out of a hat. Either way, you’ll know shortly after noon on Thursday who the big winner is!

So tell me, what are your favorite fair memories (NYS Fair or otherwise)?

  1. Total bummer! I would SO go. I've only been to a couple fairs, but I always remember funnel cake. Haha. Maybe I can win for my relatives or friends in NY? ;)
